Jigsaw's Blog: My thoughts on games (and other stuff)

Blow Impressions

I’ve been playing Blow off and on for the last couple weeks. Blow is an XNA Community Game that will set you back just $5 (400 Points). It is a puzzle game but where as most puzzle games get frustrated when they start to get hard Blow is still really relaxing because of its slow pace and mellow music. The point of the game is is to use fans to gently move bubbles across each level to an exit without popping them. To help keep the frustration down there are no time limits or bubble limits so you can take your time and through trial and error work out a solution to complete the level. Plus for an XNA game I’m impressed with how much there is. Plus it is a great game to play for a level or two and then come back to later. There are two modes and over 70 levels. Plus you can go back retry levels to get more experience. I’m really happy I purchased Blow and if you’re into puzzle games I would recommend giving Blow a try.

You can find Blow on the Xbox.com Marketplace here.

Also, if you’re needing more Marketplace Points to buy it Amazon.com has them on sale.
