Plus, I played through the Torchlight demo again. Lots of gaming over the long weekend and not a lot of blogging. I&#8217;ll try to update more next week.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/farm6.static.flickr.com\/5082\/5350699211_db4d84ea44.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-675\" title=\"Borderlands Zombie Island\" src=\"http:\/\/farm6.static.flickr.com\/5082\/5350699211_db4d84ea44.jpg\" alt=\"Borderlands Zombie Island\" width=\"350\" height=\"141\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Since Borderlands (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.associatedcontent.com\/article\/2397766\/borderlands_video_game_is_the_best.html?cat=2\">my review<\/a>) got its first DLC last Tuesday I&#8217;ve played through the new sections almost two complete times. I should have time tomorrow to put in a full review, but considering it is roughly 6 hours of game play per play though you can guess that I&#8217;m enjoying it.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/farm6.static.flickr.com\/5208\/5350699171_49c8ff73a6.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-676\" title=\"Assassins Creed 2 Box Art\" src=\"http:\/\/farm6.static.flickr.com\/5208\/5350699171_49c8ff73a6.jpg\" alt=\"Assassins Creed 2 Box Art\" width=\"207\" height=\"257\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I never played\u00a0 the first Assassins Creed because I hear it got really repetitive. I decided to check out Assassins Creed 2 when all the early previews said those issues from the first were resolved. I&#8217;m pretty early in the game still, but so far I like it.\u00a0 It is going to be a huge time sink for me (not that I mind) because there are tons of optional missions but I&#8217;m a completionist and I want to do them all.\u00a0 I&#8217;m going to hold off on a full review until I&#8217;m much further into the game.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/farm6.static.flickr.com\/5085\/5350701130_b0e9ce5647.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"Torchlight Logo\" src=\"http:\/\/farm6.static.flickr.com\/5085\/5350701130_b0e9ce5647.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"368\" height=\"172\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I also played through the Torchlight demo again (<a href=\"http:\/\/andymerrill.com\/blog\/2009\/11\/torchlight-demo-impressions\/\">initial impressions<\/a>) as an Alchemist to try some of the other spells he has available. I&#8217;m plan to buy Torchlight in a couple weeks and play it over the holidays when I&#8217;ve got larger chunks of free time.\u00a0 Until then I might jump into the demo a time or two just to goof around when I have nothing else to do on my lunch break.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I know things have been quiet around here.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve been playing more Borderlands mostly, but I also started Assassins Creed 2.
