Milk drunk!

Here is our 4 week old son with his milk drunk face! He is so funny after he gets his fill of milk.

We went to the doctor today (it’s a long insurance story, but we have to change doctors, so we went to wrap things up with this doctor). Jeremiah weighs 8lbs 14oz!! We are over the birth weight. He had gained 11oz in 11 days, so we will be cutting back on the formula. Everything else looks good! I got several of my first-time-mom questions answered.

I just realized I haven’t posted since before Christmas. Andy has been really good about putting stuff up! So my big Christmas news was that I got to put my wedding ring back on my finger and I wore real jeans to Christmas at Katie’s!! I am doing well recovering. I am just a little sore still, especially when Jeremiah decides to kick my stomach.

We had a great time with Grandpa and Grandma Merrill and the Aunts. Jeremiah had several outings while they were here. We went to Dana Point, to In-N-Out for the second time (Jeremiah stayed awake this time), and Oceanside Harbor (Jeremiah decided to eat instead of go to the beach, so I wrote his name in the sand for him).

I think he was constantly passed from person to person the whole time! He loved it and I am glad he is still too little to be spoiled.

We got a bouncy seat for Jeremiah yesterday and he really likes it! It surprised him the first time he moved and he started to bounce. Today Andy said he was batting at the toys that hang from it.

So that is what we know. Other than being a little sleepy, we are doing well.
